These are HONOR’s two most complete 14-inch laptops for 2026, and on the basics they tie: both have a 92 Wh battery, weigh around 1.4 kg, have a 1 TB SSD, a 1080p camera and same-generation Intel Core Ultra processors. The real decision comes down to the screen, the ports and how much you want to spend. Here are the differences, using the spec sheet of each model.

The screen is the big difference
The Pro 14 has a 3.1K touch OLED: true blacks, 700 nits peak and full DCI-P3, the colour space used in cinema and much photo and video editing. Its 3:2 format is taller, which suits documents and web pages.
The MagicBook 14 has a matte 2880×1800 LCD with 430 nits and 100% sRGB, the web standard. Its advantage is the anti-glare finish: next to a window or under strong overhead light it is easier on the eyes and easier to read. It is not a touchscreen.
Battery and weight: practically a tie
Both have 92 Wh and weigh almost the same (1.37 kg for the Pro, 1.39 kg for the MagicBook 14). HONOR’s battery-life figures are close, 16.7 h against 15.6 h, and so is fast charging. The Pro is slightly thinner.
Ports: Thunderbolt only on the Pro
The Pro 14 has a Thunderbolt 4 port, useful for a high-resolution monitor, a dock or a fast external drive on a single cable. The MagicBook 14 has two full-function USB-C ports that handle charging, an external display and data, but not Thunderbolt.
Performance and memory
The Pro 14 always comes with 32 GB and goes up to a Core Ultra X9 388H. The MagicBook 14 starts at 16 GB and tops out at a Core Ultra X7 358H with Arc B390 graphics. For office work, study and browsing, both have plenty in hand; for serious editing, pick the 32 GB, Arc B390 version of either.
The MagicBook 14 has two M.2 slots so you can add a second SSD later; the Pro 14 spec sheet does not mention this.
Price
EU price, VAT included (October 2026): with Core Ultra 5 and 32 GB, the Pro 14 costs €1,799 and the MagicBook 14 €1,599 (a €200 difference). With Core Ultra X7 358H and 32 GB, it is €1,899 against €1,829 (a €70 difference). The MagicBook 14 with 16 GB starts at €1,499. Prices may change; the current price is always on each product page.
