What data we handle and what for

Name, shipping and billing address, email and phone — to prepare, ship and deliver your order and help you if something goes wrong. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
Order and payment data — to charge, invoice and manage returns and refunds. Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligation.
Your account data, if you create one — so you can check your orders and invoices. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
Email address, if you subscribe — to send you news and offers. Legal basis: your consent.
Your review and the name you sign it with — to publish it on the product page. Legal basis: your consent.
Browsing data and cookies — so the store works and, if you accept, to measure usage. Legal basis: legitimate interest and consent.

We do not build profiles or make automated decisions that significantly affect you.

Who we share it with

Only with those who need to handle it for the store to work, and always limited to what is essential:

Shopify — the platform the store and the checkout run on
The payment gateway — to process the payment. We neither see nor store your full card details
Shopify Email — to send you the order emails and, if you subscribed, the marketing ones
Judge.me — to manage and publish reviews
The carrier — to deliver your order

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

We pass strictly necessary data to logistics and manufacturing providers, some of them located outside the European Economic Area, for the sole purpose of preparing and delivering your order. When those transfers take place, they are made under the safeguards provided for by applicable law.

How long we keep it

Order and invoicing data: the period required by applicable accounting and tax rules
Your account data: for as long as you keep it open
Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe
Reviews: while the product remains published, unless you ask for their removal
Browsing data: as set out in the Cookie policy

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, its rectification, its erasure, the restriction of its processing and its portability, as well as object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before.

Write to us at info@honorlaptops.com stating which right you want to exercise. We reply within the period set by law and we may need to verify your identity first. To unsubscribe from the newsletter you do not need to write to us: there is a link at the foot of every email.

Complaints

If you think we have not handled your data properly, tell us first. And in any case you can complain to the supervisory authority of your country of residence. In the European Economic Area, the list of authorities is on the European Data Protection Board website.

Minors

This store is not aimed at minors and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you notice that a minor has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is infallible, so we recommend that you do not send us sensitive information through insecure channels.
